NAME
     fabs -- floating-point absolute value function

SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
     The fabs() functions compute the absolute value of a floating-point number
     x.

SPECIAL VALUES
     fabs(+-0) returns 0.

     fabs(+-infinity) returns +infinity.
